OeAD Young Science Workshop on Soft Skills with FH Burgenland Lecturer David Corcoran

Last week, our 8c students had the opportunity to take part in an inspiring workshop led by David Corcoran, lecturer at FH Burgenland and expert in the fields of communication and personal development.

The session focused on strengthening essential soft skills that play a crucial role in academic, professional, and personal success. Through interactive activities, real-life examples, and reflective tasks, students explored topics such as effective communication, and emotional intelligence.

David Corcoran encouraged the students to step out of their comfort zones, challenge their thinking, and recognise their individual strengths. The workshop offered practical tools and strategies that will support our learners not only during the final months before their graduation, but also as they enter further education or the workplace.

We are grateful for the cooperation with OeAD Young Sand proud of our students’ engagement throughout the workshop. Experiences like these show how valuable external expertise can be in preparing young people for their future paths.
